However once the new image was installed i am unable to connect to flash fxp. i have changed the ip addy on flash fxp to the box's new address but no change. any ideas as i need to drop the keys in!!

u should use an address in the range of your network card!!!!!!

1 up or 1 down from ur pc or routers ip addy (network range) and stick with it......

if your flashing through your router ip address should be the same on your box and your ftp programme, make sure dhcp and network is enabled in dbox settings.
