Basically a few Bug Fixes and a new CVS build

Built from the CVS of 02/11/2008.

Includes the UK Mods, Channel Icons, Tuxweather with Webcams, Location scanning & the Key copy for Gbox feature. The LCD-EPG is now built-in to the CVS and you need to edit the neutrino.conf file to change the mode. No 7 Day EPG this time.

Set your Location from the Blue Button menu and you're ready to scan. SPTS mode is OFF and UCODE001A is ON by default.

With Special thanks to all the UK Modders.

Important Note:
This is a FTA Image with no Keys or Emu's installed. The EMU's have been removed from /bin/emu and the Nagra Rom files removed from /var/keys - There is a Dummy keyfile in there, leave that alone.

Do not modify this image to receive any channels that you do not pay for.

can I ask compared to the other images like Blade or Andromeda - what benefits would one get from using this image

You get an image compiled from the latest cvs. You would have to try it to see if it ran better on your box.

Hi Lincsat good image, nice picture quality, menus and quick channel changes.

I can't find the Upnp option in the Main Menu, has this been removed from the CVS build or can it be added?

Some of the gif files in Tuxweather and no longer valid (in Weather Today / Tomorrow menu) Had a look but can't find a suitable replacement.
Nice to see the traffic cams and easy to add additional web cam images (for nearby motorways).

No Advanced Menu from the Blue button, it just exits back to the TV.

Interet Radio works well with a nice list arranged by Genre.

Yweb 2.7.1 (YJOGOL) is completly English now which is a nice look, better than hovering over the German text to see what it means.

Not tried streaming yet, but i'll leave feedback if I find any problems.

soz m8 tried it today ,wouldnt pick up any of the plus channels,it stuck and froze on bbc1,the picture was good tho ,trying to go up the channles was hard it wouldnt respond ,a bit slow to be honest ,it picked up the new ones but when you went onto one of them there was sound but no picture it was only when i went up and down a few times that picture would appear but thast only my opinion i allwasy like to try out new things well done for it anyway

Just tried channel changes by up and down buttons and it did not work well at all.
I missed this as I normally select the channel from the list, too many to scroll through

This could cause too many problems with the family saying it broken again so its back to my previous image I think.

i would like to ask a noob question.

I have a dbox with commando on it. It works very well. The OS isnt as good as yours though.

When i flash yours onto it, i loose at least half of the channels (chirp then loose signal)

can i take the 2 os'es and make one which has all the features/delights/goodies which yours has an the tuner section of the old image so that it works?

since i am a bit of a noob, can you give me a rough idea how to do it?

Just Find the right one for your box
And be happy
Theres a lot of hard work gone in by modders and creators
to get them to that stage ............Paul

the commando image works great for viewing the channels. Its a 2005 image so the web interface doesnt work, the scanning is poor and there are a lot of improvements which come in the later images

only problem is that the later images just dont allow me to view most of the channels. I get the decode etc but the signal levels are just too poor for the tuner with every other image...

any rough ideas?

And have always been top of my shopping list
Comm 10 is on the way now
You need to do alot of reading mate
Your at least 5 comm images behind us ,and they got better
Get a newer Comm image or and a Booster......Paul

i have tried the newer commando images. they dont pick up with the tuner (and i know its not the images faults - it is the box)

i have put the comm images on other boxes and they have all worked in the same house, its just this box is being screwy

the same question would go if i was using a newer image and it didnt pick up the channels (at the moment i'm getting sports, movies but no discovery and half of my entertainment are gone - even after a full scan) how would i transfer out the tuner section of the image from the older image?
