I'm probably talking outa my arse (Oi- who shouted "As usual"??)- but I'm sure I read somewhere that the old dbox1 Satellite has an F Connector for the signal, where a Cable version has a Co-ax socket.

Apparently, the Sat model is still highly regarded and worth money. The cable version is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Needs a card- and won't AU. Not too much trouble at the moment, when keyrolls are a month or so apart- but could become a pain when they roll twice daily!

But a cable dbox1 does have it's uses- for example: it can make a handy step-up for a short arse to emulsion the ceiling easier...

      Cheers- AL

Wish i'd known that, i punted a Dbox1 with dvb2000 and set up for satellite at a car boot sale the other week, twenty quid i sold it for, i thought it would only have been good as a door stop!
