Backing up images and files

Hi all first thread so be patient, I was reading some of your posts on saving and backing up files and images,Q1 where on the box is the file saved and can it be used again to overrite another image which may not be operating properally. Is there a tut which can explain this proceeder on swopping files and images in simple terms and explain the function of some files as a lot of this is new to me.

Press the D-Box Key
Choose Service
Choose Software Update
Choose Expert Mode
Choose Read Single Partition Flash without Bootloader





FTP .img file to the /tmp folder on the box.

Using remote...

DBOX
SERVICE MENU
SOFTWARE UPDATE
EXPERT FUNCTIONS
WRITE ONE PARTITION
FLASH WITHOUT BOOTLOADER

Select the image from the list and select yes

The box will then reboot And be good to go .....Paul.
