    BICS

    try a new scan people and post your results of the new BICS channels

    everytime i go on them it kills the channels

    anything happening with yours at all?

    Doing a scan just now...

    What's a BICS channel?

    EDIT: nothing showing up on dreambox, not got dbox2 connected.

      your guess is better than mine

      its funny because on 2 of them i had no epg but i had channels on them

      then they dissappeared strange behaviour

      BICS 1 - 30 on mine so far

          their not on demand channels they are showing uktv channels and others - they are v*m test channels for something.....they killed my cam for a period of time the other night then started working normally....

            Interesting this. On my dream experiencing a similar problem. All ok until I go to SBO channel and that kills the cam. Have to reboot to view scrambled channels. Might be something VM are working on.

              yeh i noticed that the other day when you go on to one of the bics channels it ~~~~s your cam up you then need to go onto a normal channel and re start cam

              could they have found a way of disrupting service to our boxes because when i was first trying to set up my box a few month ago they all worked and did not knock the cam off

              so maybe if they have found a way of doing it on the test channels it may be implemented on the normal channels in the very near future


              or am i looking too deep

                  nothing lasts for ever people remember that

                  well i wouldnt worry about cams and stuff as the standard subbed boxes dont pick them

                  that tells me we can get rid of the other channels and carry on as norm

                    The BICS were used to test 3 new transport streams in early Spetember, now all/most of them are inactive and BICS23 was converted into DTVTest1

                      no so inactive

                      UKTV Style+1 is now BICS2

                      UKTV Food +1 is now BICS1

                      but maybe area differences

                        Hi All,
                        Before I entered the New Keys I did have all the Bics Channels on my EX5000PVR and the Bics channels were where I watched Skysports 1&3 but Inow after adding the New Keys I have no Bics and there is NO Skysports 1&3 can anyone help me reinstall these 2 channnels??
