not being cheeky mate , but theres a least one post on this forum that walks you through it , search for "flash one partition" ,,

    for example...

you may need to run through how to back up ur img first , but again , search the forum , theres lots of advice ...

you need 5 posts to download... but i believe google might be ur friend if your looking off forum for the img ...

good luck , a little learning goes a long way...

Thanks for share and great work

Do I need to Disable AU to 00? Right now dbox2 is set to AU 01

            Scan Problem

Had keys problem like everyone else but sorted on my dreambox

Brothers dbox2 needs sorting out - so i placed this new image on it - fine

Set location as abbeydale - gloucester (Presume right - area i live in)

scan for channels and nothing (box won't come out of scan neither)

Old image used to pick up transponders etc

Cannot get my head round this - maybe i should try Bristol settings

I am in an Ex TW area usually scanned on 6952

            currently scanning frequency 64300000

            Gobbledegook to me but stuck

Anyone able to offer help or advice on how I can get this image to work?

My previous image was Andromeda 1.3. Rather than do a service scan I backed up /Zapit and /Keys from that image, flashed with LakySylas, and copied the directories back. Rebooted and I have my bouquet displaying fine but none of the channels clear, not even FTA. EPG shows as 'waiting for time'.

Tried setting my location via the menu, even tried locations right near me that apparently use the same settings. Service scan finds no transponders and scan always fails. Tried entering the scan settings manually to no avail and have also tried using my scan.conf.

Flashing again with my Andomeda 1.3 restores everything to a working order so it's not a loose or unplugged feed or anything.

                Any ideas?

copy the services and bouquets from var/tuxbox/config/zapit m8

upload to this one and all should be fine

set your location is via the blue button this is class for very fast and good scanning

RedDbox: did you find a solution to this? I have the same problem. I have commando 6, so thought I'd do an upgrade, but I failed and so back to Hunter's Commando 6.

I've placed the files in the correct directory. Don't know if my ftp client changes the permission on folder/file when copied across.

Let me know if you manage to get it going, so I'll give it a go.
