I am having problems reading the file, when i open it with notepad it looks like foreign writing, would be very grateful for any help please.

opening the img file in notepad? , i would imagine it will look strange , its not meant to be opened as a text file,

hi guys flashed the image on to my dbox2. pressed blue button and set my location which is manchester rebooted and done a service scan. no channels found. do you need to put your own keys in this image im not very good with computers. please can someone help.

Hi,Great image picture is crystal clear,but i seem to have lost my widescreen picture on most channels,and have a thick black border around the picture.If anyone has any ideas i`d be most grateful.

Gone back to Commando 6,as i tried every aspect ratio on the D box,and tv,and still had a thick black border around most channels.

Hi would just like to thank the guys once more for a great piece of work.
No problems with this updated image,picture and sound are spot on.
And the extras are superb.

Flash the image let it reboot.
Set your location reboot
Scan for services
Set channel for Sky 1
Then transfer Nagrarom7.bin no need to delete anything else.
Give it a min or two and picture should show if not switch of at the plug then reboot.
Go to settings for video set aspect ratio to auto.
All should be well.

Laky-sylas remote control issue

Hi, Great image, the best i've tried, just one slight issue, with this image, my remote control (old style) looks like this
when I press the up/down channel button it 'jumps' two channels - just seems too 'sensative' I've tried playing around with the 'Key repeat-Blocker' settings but withput much joy, I've also tried selecting a different style of remote in the 'Exrtas Settings Menu' Anyone got any idea's ?

works a treat on my dbox2, bought from ebay with your pacinox2 image on and used this forum to find information on flashing/scanning i want to thank everyone for all the help ive recieved.

flashed using ftp and upgrade image option.

Just flashed new Xmas Laky image, and a little stuck.
When you say tranfer Nagrarom7.bin

Where exactly do you transfer it to?
Sorry if this seems trivial, done everything else, so maybe this could be my problem.
As for image, I've got a blocky image to start up that says loading, but all the programs are there, some with pictures some without.Any help appreciated.
