Can anyone explain how i flash a new image?. I am currently on Sportster. Which directory do i flash the new imgae to?. Also there are 2 files at the start of this thread. Which one do i flash to the box? I flashed the box with the new AU keys and all is well.

well if all is well mate leave it!!!
if you want a fiddle around there are 2 ways to flash 1 via ftp and the remote where you put the image in the tmp folder and use the remote to flash WITHOUT bootloader. the other is via IFA, both are easy just remember to back up your services and bouquet files first to transfer across to the new image.

Just flashed new Xmas Laky image, and a little stuck.
When you say tranfer Nagrarom7.bin

Where exactly do you transfer it to?
Sorry if this seems trivial, done everything else, so maybe this could be my problem.
As for image, I've got a blocky image to start up that says loading, but all the programs are there, some with pictures some without.Any help appreciated.

do you think should leave it?..likei said all is working well...dont want it to get upset if i flash a new image. Also what is the benefit of a newer later image?? thanks.

it's up to you it's not difficult to flash a new one but since you're up and running if you're not having any problems why bother? some images seem to give a shaper picture quality and faster channel scanning and nice add ons like channel logos and lcd-epg laky silas is one of the latest though and these images are always top notch.

Done as was asked and transferred Nagrarom7 to var keys, but on booting up I don't have any keys in keylist,is there a way to force the keys.

prendy the keys should update if you leave it on sly spurts one for about 10 mins, the screen will just be blank and then hey presto all will become clear

check you have evocamd enabled mate restart the box put it on ssp1 and go for a smook!!

Scuber, which direction is it to ensure evodcam enabled,
blue button then where? going round in circles!

not got the laky silas image on mate it's different on most images, usually blue button then something like system menu or emu selection, or key options highlight evocamd it will say please wait then evocamd started succesfully, but should definately be somewhere around the blue button menu.
