Nokia dbox 2

Hi Guys, ive got an old nokia dbox 2 and i really dont wanna chuck it out. ive only just got an A780 and im made up with it, its doing its job perfectly. If there anyway i can get something back out of this dbox2 or am i wasting my time. please bare in mind that i know NOTHING about the dbox2, im a real noob. i think it has a Commando 11.3 image on it. Thanks guys

you could put it in the loft for about 50 years , it might become a collectors item.

personally once everything has gone i would bin it.. you will only be able to get ITV, BBC and a few more, so its not worth keeping.

Awwww man, im gutted. Ive read on a few forums that people are connecting the lan up on it and getting some nice channnels. Maybe its just a myth, shame though, it would of been nice to have it back in my bedroom. Thankyou for taking the time to answer.....

there is some truth in it, but at the mo... its tricky and you will need a subbed box.

It is possible but the rules of this forum does not allow us to discuss the method used. I suggest you google for more info

Thanks for the info guys. I have a subbed box, so thats covered. Ive read up for a few weeks now and not got anywhere, like i said im a noob when it comes to dboxes, as i have been spoilt by the amazing super easy kryptviews Thankyou anyways i will read up some more

Can anyone help me my dbox has gone off and i can only get channels 12345 and a few free view ones aswell any help would be appreciated....

Pieman, youve been hit by the Nag 3 in your area. Time to throw ur box in the bin. Now you have to either goto S~Y or pay for a full sub. Or use google

you dont have to throw your box in the bin,the dbox still can be use as a media center to stream films and music from the pc

Why bother?
Watch the movies on your pc or burn them to a 30p disk and watch them on your tv.

The only use I'd find it worth keeping is if you can stream from the likes of sopcast from your PC to TV.
