on your subscription box unplug from wall socket then on the box press and hold all the time the up and down arrow buttons on the box

then plug in the power still holding down on these buttons you will get a engineers menu then let go of the down and up buttons

in there you will find your netid and frequency and symbol rate

press the right arrow on subscription box to flick through the pages where you will find this information

write this information down then post on here

to get out of the engineers menu simply unplug from mains and plug back in

    Hope this Helps ......paul

not recommended for subbed boxes as this activity is logged, recorded and can be viewed by v*m if talback ain't cut, which on a subbed box it won't.....best to do it on a modded box.

Right gav I found this netid.
              Kildare Ireland C***** 01537.324.000 6875
Its for kildare tho but scans on the 6875 symbol rate and the freqs will be in the xml that you gave me.
Can you do anything with that?Would the same netid correspond to us here in Cork?

                overwrite it in var/tuxbox/config

                please unplug from mains only

                plug back in

please report a scan result as we can put this into all future images m8

u could have got a service file from here

Digital Kaos - Downloads - cork services and boquets

but it don't give u the net id and believe me on a subbed box v*m or chorus in this case will know if u been in the EM

u could try this posted by mgb.....

Unzip the irish11.zip, upload the file cables.xml to var/tuxbox/config and let overwrite the old one, delete the file scan.conf in the same sub directory, pull the plug.
Replug, go to the scan menu, select n*l ie cable bf in the provider line, select keep/leave bouquets in the bouquet line, switch off fast scan, start the scan.

Some images have the cables.xml in the subdirectory share/tuxbox.
If you find a cable.xml there replace it.

i can do that metman but It would be easier just to have the fastscan option because when you need to scan your box it'll need to be reflashed because the previous netid is already on the box but I'll try your second method with the irish xml file and report back.
Christ every netid is available on the net except Cork......somebody must have it,in all fairness

                          hi Freck

the net id is 6875000 based on my dm500 services . my dm500 will autoscan.

im going to assume that the 3 0's on the end are some thing that the dreambox needs

its on all my entries in my services so thats got to be it

                          hope this helps

                              Hi Gav12345

where would this typically hide ? and what would it look like?

                              ive looked at my boquets.xml

                              <channel serviceID="0259" name="RTE One" tsid="0038" onid="0601"/>

                              is it the onid ????
