Flash assistant for apple mac computer?

Hi, does anyone know if there is a Flash assistant for apple mac computer?

my dbox2 went down like alot of people yesterday, stupidly I went above my station and tried to put a new image on, while it was flashing it just stalled when I turned it back on at the mains it just says 'loading kernel' and is stuck there, (i'm even worse off now that i cant start it up!) read a few posts, flashing direct with a IFA seems the best advice but I've got a macbook.

image was a blue peer v1.0 SquashFS

was planning on replacing with: neutrino-squashfs.img2x

can anyone help on this one?

got some bad news im afraid unless you have a pc serial port you wont be able to use ifa.

if your box is currently running a working (even if its not decoding) image then you can update the image by connecting your d2box to your mac via ethernet, and following the tut for flashing a box using telnet. By far the most reliable method for upgrading images.

hope this is of some use

      Boot Camp

If you have boot camp on your mac. Install Xp and use a USB to Serial adaptor to fix your firmware. That assuming that you have an intel based mac, if not ask a friend for family member to borrow a pc or laptop.
