my keylist.txt file is completely blank

I tried to update the co*des, but when i looked in the keylist.txt file, the file is completely blank.
I am in the Harrow area (Kenton) near Wembley - does anyone know what the right codes are for the area, CW,TW or PURE?
I have the blade quad image on my dbox2. Do i need to enter the N 5401 00 and 01 before the codes or just the codes?

i have this problem sbance and the advice i got from jaffa is to leave the box on sly spurts one for a while until the box updates the keytxt file and even though the updated keys wont work at least you can then alter them.

My SoftCam file had nothing in it but the keylist.txt did have, so i took it that i have evocamd and entered keys in there

you may have codes in the softcam and should edit there

the codes should look like this
N 5A01 00 044D6F7DD5C9F79B ROM10 AU Key Time Fri Nov 28 11:45:49 2008
only thing i changed was the 044d6.... left everything as it was

Hi mate ive go same have managed to get the keys back after scanning for channels and then chnged required key worked last nag but off again this morning may ahev to be a img update

yes mate it's the correct file, i was just pissing about because there was nowt to watch and cleared public keys and tried to force a public key update hence on one of my boxes my keylist.txt file is currently empty. and i am on evocamd. so i'll try jaffa's solution later to try and get the box to updated some non working keys that i can alter. it's easy done pal!!

my softcam file is also empty, so i cant copy

i think i will re-scan as suggested and go on from there

what you recon is problem then?

the problem seems to be the autoupdate function will not work with the current key changes therefore everytime the keys change you have to update them manually. until someone creates an image that can auto update these changes on the roms we'll be on manual update very possibly at least once daily.

you soft.key will be empty as you are using evocam and this cam looks for keylist.txt

My understanding......

Select Evocamd.... Enable all NagraROM images (especially 11!).... Set the EMU to autoupdate.... Switch to Sly Sports 1.... leave for a minute to roll...... Now go into tuxbox commander and enter var/keys/keylist.txt and there will be a list of keys with any luck. Just go through the updating procedure as specified elsewhere and you'll be jammin... good luck.

i had this same problem ..

i rescanned the channels .. then i tried the autoupdate programe

i dont know how to post ditect links so this will have to do

anyways i used that and after i reset the box .. everything worked ... im still havign probs myself . but using that program will get you started

you will need to connect your box to the pc with a rj45 cable ..

user name is root ,, password is dbox ...
