Has anyone used one of those wireless audio/video senders to get a feed from dbox onto another tv in the house? And was it compatible with the remote control signal sender?
Cheers!
hi there this is my first post on digital kaos, i have used an av sender wirelessly from my lounge to my bedroom upstairs, the quality of image was not that great plus at times the remote control played up because u need to know the exact position where to change the channel, i personally believe that it was a waste of money buying an av sender coz u wont enjoy the quality of image and sound and it is certainly a pain when u need to change the channels, hope this helps
thanks
arshad
I've used an av sender with a dbox without any problems, including remote control. I'd say if the sender works in your house with a dvd player it will work with a dbox.
don't buy the one from tesco.. i bought that and it was cack..!!
get the argos or if you go to maplins they have one which was slightly more expensive ( when i bougt it) but the sound and pic where wicked. changing channels was instatnt.

Do you have a link for the one you bought from maplins?
Hi
I bought mine off ebay, the sender fits into the scart socket and the reciever fits into the scart socket of your tv pic and sound excellent changes channel no problem. I bought an extra reciever so have 2 tvs working of the box.
Hi. I have recently bought a video sender from LIDL. The brand name is Welltech. It cost ?23.99 and works very well with both Dreambox and DBox.
I found that if you place the unused sensors close to the sensor that is attached to the Dreambox/Dbox then there is a big improvement in channel selection. The sensor attached to the Dreambox/Dbox should be offset slightly from the LED remote indicator. It should not be placed directly on top of the LED position. The video sender has two sets of one aerials one for sending and receiving AV and sound (shaped like minature dishes) and the other set (small upright antennas) for remote control transmission and reception. These can be adjusted to give the best reception of both AV & sound and remote operation.
