    flashing

evening folks, hoping someone can shed some light for me.
I copied the rom 7 fix to my box(running andromeda), and everything worked fine. Made a backup image to flash my other box and my mates box.
when I connect to any of the boxes I can communicate with them, but when I try to flash the new image (using dbox flashing assistant) they both go straight to loading. Been trying for about an hour.Plugs in, out, in ,out
    Any ideas?
    thanking you

cant u do a full backup? then send the image back to the other?....
hooking both on the network is not always the best when flashing...one at a time is stable.

the communication settings are the same for both boxes?....dont worry about flashing just yet....try and make sure you have a connection between the 2nd box and your software....if you have the green light then `flash erase` using dreamup and the correct cable (avoid network flashing).
dont forget you can reset the second box...or do a manual delete of the image using ftp.

Are they all 1x or 2x flash ram chips? Get it wrong and you'll have no system (kein system).

flashing with cable straight out of pc to dbox using flashing assistant. Done at least 20 flashes with this method, all fine. This time the boxes go straight to loading .

have you thought of doing it via ftp as i find this a lot easier to flash with if u need advice on how to do it this way let me know you will need a rj45 cable

think I might have to do it that way.
Its a bugger though. Wish I could work out why its not working this time.
Im going to try again with a different pc, see if that makes any difference.
thanks for the replys and help folks
