still no channels

i have flashed a new image and put the 3 rom7 files in and still no channels i done a scan and it said 300 odd channels found but i cant get then the lcd says waiting for time any ideas wud b appreciated

have u restarted the emu cmd in the settings by hitting the dbox button on your remote, then reboot, and if u have transfered the rom7 files over to the var/keys folder, you should be good to go after uve rebooted.

PS What image are you on, and are u on a dbox2

im using lincsat 2x but ive noticed in the key folder the cam files and other things r in that r as well as the rom7 files,

ok, im on laky pro, but it doesnt matter bar the cmd u use.
You need to delete all Romfiles that end in 10,11 , and should only have the rom 7 files in the keyvars folder.

You didnt need to flash ure image, but uve done that now...

Uve done all the hard bits, so youre nearly there..

Remove the rom10/11 files from key/vars folder and then restart the emu cmd , and leave it on ssp1

ok i guess i have messed up somewhere cos in service menu all i have is :
bouquet ed
service scan
reload channel list
reload pluggins
restart neutrino
restart epg
check u codes
channel epg

no sign of emu cam

hit the blue button on ure remote and u should see the correct table listing service menu

FILEMANAGER
TELETEXT
ADD CHANNELS TO FAV
PLAYTS
TIMERLIST
LOCK RC
READ EPG
CLEAR EPG


SYSTEM menu is where u need to go in

3 lists
soft standy settings
cams and ucodes menu
lcd epg

soft stand by and u will see the emu settings

Razor887 saved the day for me....

I had the "waiting for time" etc problems and followed this....

"Flash the image let it reboot.
Set your location reboot
Scan for services
Set channel for Sky 1
Then transfer Nagrarom7.bin no need to delete anything else.
Give it a min or two and picture should show if not switch of at the plug then reboot.
Go to settings for video set aspect ratio to auto.
All should be well."

I did however have a backup of all keys - i simply imported them back in and voila!

looks like the bin for my dbox2 re flashed with 4 differant images now and added the rom 7 keys nowt works rebooted refalshed reset plugged it in and out rescanned whats left to do damm

check permission of the files, the keylist.txt will need rw access or else the operating system will be unable to write to the file.

Are you getting some channels and not others? It could be that you're using a FTA image. I can point you in the right direction to FULL images.

thanks i have flashed with new version last night it works fine with no messing around just loaded and away it went
