null modem method didn't work,what next?

hi,
my dox2 became stuck on 5 square blocks/showing text/numbers data etc......

so I tried to flash an image but it did not work. I've tried most of the methods -IFA, serial+ null modem, serial only, finally i tried the null modem in Hyperterminal, all went well but when I powered off and back on again the problem persisted.

just wondering if anyone knows of something else I can try?

Is there any history to the problem,
1) Has it ever worked.
2) What Image was on it when it worked.
3) What box is it (nokia, sagem (1x or 2x), philips)
4) Any reason it stopped working, did you just power it off, and then the next time it didn't work, or did it reboot its self?


and any thing else you may think important.

But if IFA doesn't sort it then you may be screwed.

If all else fails "all else fails" Go thru the DBUG procedure with Bootmanager, sounds like u got nowt 2 loose m8, gud luk

You might need to load up boot manager on it.

hi,
more info, but i'm not a noobie on this, I'm just stuck

1) had it for 4 years - debugged it myself
2) worked perfect with pacino 2xI nokia
3) nokia 2xI
4) stopped working about a week or so ago when they started to change things.

one thing I noticed was that the Rom7 roll was never seen on "show public keys"

any details on the dbug procedure? I think I may have already tried it - just need to make sure but when I launch bootmanager - it doesn't connect to the box -as if its been locked.
