I also get these messages & ignore them unlike my neighbour who unplugged his straiaght away....he then asked me to look after his box incase somebody knocked on his door to check.....
Just like to add that I now have 2 boxes up and running in my house..ha..ha

ur mates original v**g*n box needs to be updated it wont work if it has been unpluged for a long time people with original boxes need to keep plugging them in every once and awhile to keep them up to date or put box on a splitter

i have my original v**g*n box on at the minute its been four plus years since ive had it on,no freeview channels so now i know why what do you do,could i phone them and act daft or just make do until box back on soon?and also when they are at the green box in the street do they know your not on thanks

certain channels will display a warning, mostly on test channels , there is a channel called fraud channell or something.
