two problems with fix for sl1000

I tried the fix for the sl1000 ,in the stickie it says wait until the four dashes appear,am i right in that on this display there are no dashes so how do you proceed ?

Next question when i have tried to do the fix all seems well and it says download successful so i connect it back to tv do a scan and after scanning it says

please wait code updating.

where do i go from here?

Hi

There is no display on the sl1000 so you wont see any dashes. If you have updated your box correctly it will say at first "please wait code being updated" after about 1-2 mins it should come back on ok

Thanks .Have managed to install new fix and done scan (fast and deep) but some channels are missing and some are scrambled. using correct symbol rate and did not use splitter when scanning,.what else can i try to get all channels back.
