    Hi Guys just a bit of info incase this happens to anyone else.I downloaded the new firware to my blue box last week with no problems bar the Santana ch were missing got up this morming turned on the tv to find mes on screen saying no signal i done a power scan still no joy so reinstalled the firware again everything now back up and working. I have a question in the guide how to flash a box it says box should be on standby but i have read here when downloading firmware to box you should not see the clock but 4 dig my box was on standby and i downloaded the firmware with no problem could anyone explain this and could this be the reason my box went off thanks inadvance.

    It has to be in standby to flash. If it is a bad flash then you unplug the box and then hit download and plug the box back in.

    New boxes that have not been flashed will say "system reset" when you first attempt a flash. This just means unplugging them and the plugging them back in for download to start.
