Eurovox ex5000 timer

Hi
i brought a eurovox ex5000 so i could use it to record programs while i was at work, a bit like Sky/V+
however, i have set the timer to record a program everyday, and most days it doesnt record , i think it recorded on time for a few days.

anyone know the problem?
or if the new firmware would help?

Got the same set up but mine keeps telling me the hard drive is not installed or full. When it has worked , the timer appears to be ok though if a little archaic to set up

have you tried to format the drive again?

one design fault.. is the slot in drive, they should have just had a long cable extension coming out. its a bit of a pain to take the drive out once its inside and connected.

anyone else experiencing problems with timer record?

No idea on how you format it. Agree the slot in is a bit dodgy though

the only way i know is by connecting it to ur pc, it will show up as a drive, right click and format..(format the same file structure. ie if its fat32 dont format to ntfs).
maybe u can try that if u have a usb external case lying around.
