Eurovox Max saying 2346

Hi Flased my mates box for him it worked at first but now bricked just says 2346 on the display. will not let you do owt else.any suggestions Cheers

Now Sayin 2347 never had this before i am more than sure this box aint a clone. any suggestions

i have tried reflashing it with the clonsafe f/w still no joy still 2347

Did it take the clonesafe firmware? Which firmware revision was on it before you flashed it?

it took the clone safe f/w but was last working with the new blue max f/w

Yes it may have worked for a while, (it does not brick it immediately), but that doesnt indicate it was a genuine model. If you can tell me what the previous revision was before you flashed it then that would give a better indication.

Am really not sure mate have tried previous clone flash nothing working..

Look down through the grills on top of the box. Do you see any red marks on the board screws?

You are saying that it is taking firmware updates without any problems but you are stuck with this on the display? So you can see the menu am I right in saying that.

You could try the micro reset button on the main board. Hold it down for a few seconds and then flash. But I need to know if its a clone or not? Dont worry either way as the box isnt dead, but it may need to be jtagged if it cannot be reflashed with any of the methods if have described.

If you cannot see the menu, its may be just that the box needs to be factory reset. You need to connect it to the TV via the VCR/RF output with a coax lead as the scart connection will not work until a reset is done.

Yes there are red marks on the board screws.
But cannot get the menu no picture at all just my blue tv screen

Its a clone. Have you tried as said above and connect it to the TV via the VCR RF output with a coax lead. Then tune the TV until you see the menu. You will need to do a factory reset when you see it. It will ask for a pin use 0000 or 1004.

After this it will output from the scart. Then just go back into menu - config - TV settings set it to PAL and 16:9 if you like.
