Use the UFL to edit your channel list.

How do i go about doing that. Thought the UFL was just the Unified Front Loader/ firmware flash.

o you mean just edit them via the remote control ?

No not the remote. The UFL can be used to edit your channels and sort favourites. Open the UFL and you will see upload download and edit buttons along the bottom connect your box up to pc with the cable as u did when u flashed it. Hit upload give ur channel list a file name and save it. Browse to that file hit save then hit the edit button - a new channel edit box will appear click the plus top left side these r your freq and channels are listed within these. From here u can edit this information save it and download it to your box (bottom download button).
Hope its helped if so please click the thanks button.

Cheers did not notice that option. The problem i have now though is that everytime i unplug the box the time resets to 12.00. So i can manage my channel as above but when i power box back on and set the time everything is out of synch with the EPG guide ?

The only way i can get the current time/EPG in synch is to do a full rescan which then resets all my channel ?

Any ideas why ? Though it would updaye time automatically ?

          Cheers

Just noticed that they both use .CDF files. Can i use the cdf file i created using VOXER and upload with UFL since i can connect with that no problems ?

The time is in sync if set up correctly are you in the UK or Ireland. Everytime you are unplugging it could have an affect, hence why I need to know.

Yes if the CDF was created on either this box, later models of Max and SL1000.

When you unplug it most times it defaults the GMT settings. You are better off leaving it is standby once set. But thats just my opinion as I dont want to appear to be a carbon footprint monster
