hello, my brother has a blue box 2006 which has worked for years until 2 weeks ago when it locked up and left the error message c908. any ideas anyone?

BEFORE YOU DO THIS FLASH WITH F/WARE FROM APRIL 08 .TO GET THE F/WARE D/LOAD BIGMAQ TOOLBAR AND CLICK ON FILES AND FIXES, YOU WANT THE BLUE BOX FLASH FROM 21/04/08.heres what u do take out the scart lead form ur eurovox and tv
connect a coxial cable from the back of ur eurovox to ur tv (a coxial cable is the one u use to connect ur vcr to ur tv )
ok now u have ur eurovox connected to the tv by coxial cable only have ur eurovox on and not in standby but on
now using ur tv remote scan the channels on ur tv do an automatic scan of channels on ur tv u should get to a screen asking for a code the code using ur eurovox remote now is either 0000 or master code 1004
now u will press menu>goto config>cleardata>clear channels>factory default ?choose correct symbol rate then power scan.once your box is back on flash it with the blue box clonesafe f/ware.
