Eurovox max fault - C7F7

Hi everyone this is my first time here. I have a problem with my Eurovox max blue. I flashed it with latest firmware off the chatterbox toolbar but after about 10 mins it went off after I pressed the EPG button and now it won't come back on. It shows C7F7 on the display and the tele says 'no signal'. Have I broken my box or is there a fix? I would be grateful for any help.

r u sure your box is not a clone ,try reflash with clonesafe f/ware then factory reset and power scan

Hi. I thought I was sure it is a genuine box but now I'm not that confident. I've not managed to download pictures of both boxes to see differences. I read somewhere that a genuine box has the scart lead point at the right side of the box looking at it from the front. Will a clone flash make it worse if it not a clone?

reflash it first with f/ware from last april (files and fixes on bigmaq t/bar)and see what it does.

Still broke

Just flashed it with the april f/ware but still no joy. The box is still saying c7f7.

Have you tried the output from the VCR coax RF socket rather than the scart socket and then tune via the TV. You may see the main menu if it asks for a pin use 1004 and then factory reset and rescan.

Was it a clone or genuine box and which firmware revision did you use?

Got box working(ish)

Hi. I've managed to get the box on again by connecting it to tv via coaxal cable and tuning in to put the reset code in. I've got some channels but not the premium ones as it says updating codes. I've tried putting latest codes in manually but it doesn't work. I've noticed the box is on lock. Any ideas?

You need to do a factory reset and scan again.

Hi. I'm pretty sure it's a genuine box. I flashed it with the eurovox max blue unified flash loader 21/04/08 off the chatterbox toolbar. Previously when I flashed it with the latest firmware (UFL Eurovox max blue AU fix 30/11/08) it worked for 10 mins then broke.

It doesnt sound like a genuine box have you tried the clonesafe file? The one you got from the toolbar will not AU.

Still got probs

I've done a factory reset and tried to power scan but it just won't scan, it just stops prematurley and won't find any channels so i've tried to download the safe clone f/ware as suggested but it says invalid file.

Ok I've got to a point now where I have the box working, I flashed it with f/ware 10_04_08 for eurovox max blue. I did a factory reset and power scan but still on the premium channels it says 'codes being updated' so I've tried inputting the latest code for telewest but still no joy. What else can I try please?

i hope you dont think i am being funny but are you loading the bin file into the correct box on the loader.also if the scart has been knocked after flash your box is a clone.
try flash from 21/04/08 then try with the clonesafe one

Box working

Hi. Got my box working. Flashed with 10_04_08 blue f/ware then downloaded my channels back onto the box from computer then got the most recent keys (from last night) and thank god its back on. I've learned alot from you guys and I can't thank you enough. All the best.
