2 Channel Name Questions (EX5000 PVR)

Hi there... 2 Questions.

1. Is there anyway to keep a channel name i've edited, so that it won't revert back to the original name when i do an "Update Channels" or any "Scan"?
Its becoming really annoying.

Also...

2. Is there any way to have a channel name with more then 12 characters.. its a bit limited isn't it?

you can save all your channel data on your pc once you have created it .then each time you flash your box you can add it through the flash loader

Yeah i know mate i have the CDF saved on my comp, its just when i scan for the PPV or whatever i need to keep sending the CDF back and forth, it needs some type of lock .
