Eurovox

Hi folks! First of a big thank you to Devilfish and his group for their brilliant work. My ex5000 is working very well now.

However one of my friend's has got the older style Eurovox Max and when we downloaded the relevant firmware it seems to have messed it up.

Download was successful, and the box then tuned in alright but only worked for a little while. Now when turned on just comes up with 0000 in the screen panel and nothing happens. Any advise on what this could be?

This has been coverd so many times. please do a search. It is a clone box and you put none clone update on it

your box may be a clone. BEFORE YOU DO THIS FLASH WITH F/WARE FROM APRIL 08 .TO GET THE F/WARE D/LOAD BIGMAQ TOOLBAR AND CLICK ON FILES AND FIXES, YOU WANT THE BLUE BOX FLASH FROM 21/04/08.heres what u do take out the scart lead form ur eurovox and tv

connect a coxial cable from the back of ur eurovox to ur tv (a coxial cable is the one u use to connect ur vcr to ur tv )
ok now u have ur eurovox connected to the tv by coxial cable only have ur eurovox on and not in standby but on

now using ur tv remote scan the channels on ur tv do an automatic scan of channels on ur tv u should get to a screen asking for a code the code using ur eurovox remote now is either 0000 or master code 1004
now u will press menu>goto config>cleardata>clear channels>factory default ?choose correct symbol rate then power scan.once your box is back on flash it with the blue box clonesafe f/ware.
