eurovox maxv 2008 help please

hi there got a prob caused by an idiot with maxv box.i reflashed box with latest firmware gave it back to him and all was fine.then for some reason he did a factory reset and deleted everything.
so i put latest firmware back on but when it scans for channels it comes up with the PEAA fault.
all was well with the box till he did factory or system reset,took new firmware ok now it is harder 2 put firmware on have to power off then plug in after the download press.
just would like 2 know the best way to try and get it working again iff possible,eg best firmware there are loads out there,any help ty in advace

This is a protection error most likley you have a clone. I cant find any way to sort but if you flash chanels on from computer it will work fine till some idiot does factoryb reset.

how do i do that pal no about cdf file does it have 2 be from a good box in area??

If any of your pals have a box take a channel dump of it and flash it to yours.
