All boxes down in Ireland 18-12-08

Have a Dbox 2, lost most channels except the free to air ones. Did a scan and over wrote the bouquet file and now I have nothing (just blank Telewest channels) Any idea how to sort the dbox 2 out? Its been a year at least since I did anything on it so trying hard to remember what to do. Any help appreciated. I am goign to load on a newer blade version (was using a 2007 image) to see if that helps.

Thank you very much for the info HiTech. I flashed box, dowloaded chanel data back into it, powerscanned and am back in business. Would be lost without these sites. Gerry.

Which box ? The box T for your area I can only presume?,

Devilfish,i put the DK image on,ftp the new auto update fix,[scce,keys,var,,flash xp,etc,etc]when the keys rolled yesterday,it didn't auto update,rebooted etc,no joy.It's not a problem as i just put the new keys in.It was a problem for me,as all my friends wanted there boxes fixed,i solved it by learning one of them how to put the keys in manually with the remote control when they change,so he can sort them out.I am using a dreambox 500c,ex cw area,can't work out why the auto update didn't work.Definitely not moaning,this site is the best site if you trying to work out all the technical stuff,the site is very easy to navigate for all the fixes etc,compared to all the other sites.

Got up and running with manual codes. If you download the bigmaq toolbar it gives the most upto date codes for all the different providers
