takeing recording off my pvr to my pc

hello sorry if this is a dumb arse question i only got my eurovox yesterday ive looked around this site of which ive found sum usefull tips but was wondering wen i have a recorded program on my hardrive on my ex 5000 pvr how is it possable to get this recording on to my pc

you cannot transfer off hardrive on box to pc,the eurovox has it's own file format and will not be readable, all the pc will do is format it as soon as you plug it in so don't bother.
