    Rescan after firmware?

    Hi all

I updated the firmware on my PVR5000 when it was released a couple of weeks back but didn't bother to do a rescan for channels as they were and still are all there(As far as I can tell), I've had no problems with code updates etc and still have Sentanta Sports et al that some people had lost after a scan.

Is there any point in me doing a rescan now?

To be honest if everything is working and you haven't lost any channels or any channels you watch, I'd just leave it ticking over, "if it's not broke" ...
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending their injured. RUGBY PLAYERS SPEND 80 MINUTES PRETENDING THEIR NOT!
