Signal breakup ONLY after reflashing a Eurovox Max V 2008 black

I posted the below in a reply on a thread, but as the thread title was very vague, I thought it best to start a new more informative thread:

I had a Eurovox Max V 2008 black working perfect on a direct feed from the outside (original box replaced).
Picture was perfect for months, then when the code wouldnt update, I had to flash with new firmware.
Now, most channels break up every other day making it unwatchable.
Now, the fact this box worked perfect for 6 hours plus a day, every day, for months on end right up till the firmware was changed makes me understandably suspicious of what is going on - when the picture on Sky Sports was unwatchable, I immediately swapped boxes with my old Eurovox 2 - and the picture was perfect. Put the Max V back, and it broke up, so, if anyone has any suggestions or theories Id love to hear them.

mines done it about 3 times in 2 days now
im using an ex5000

its when they move channel freqs arround seems to cause interference on all encrypted channels you will find that bbc channels and itv work fine

run a new scan and it should work fine , unless they move another channel and same apply's run another scan ,hopefully there will be some kind of firmware fix to stop this from happening , and stop us from rescanning every time this happens good luck to the programmers!

i have no idea why your other box is fine id like to hear anyone that know why this is happeng on some box's and not others as i only have this box

Ive had a similar issue as RustyMG, I have the same box, flashed it, have it directly connected, signal strength is about 79% but get the 'No Siganl' error after about 15 minutes.
Ive tried a deep scan, reset factory settings, connected without splitter and nothing works.

Does anyone have a suggestions please?

i had a similar problem mine worked fime till i used the dec software then a lot of my channels broke up but i bought a variable attenuator of of fleabay & it fixed most of my channels then the rest of my channels have came back on in the last 3 weeks i think vm had been messin with the frequencys & signals for the last few months, but do try an attenuator as u can increase & decrease the signal strength comin into ur house good luck m8y.
