Unable To Recieve Sky Sports 1 And 3

Hi, I recently purchased the Eurovox EX5000 PVR. Have scanned for channels but i am unable to pick up Sky Sports 1 and 3. I have seemingly tried everything that i have seen in forums to try and rectify this but still no luck. I've heard people mention a Variable Attenuator. I am not 100% sure wat this actually does or whether this could be linked to my problem. Any input would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

if you know anyone on the same area or network (i.e c/w ntl or t/w) who has the same box as you then you can download there cdf file on to your box mate

dont suppose you have seen if anyone has posted a cdf file for southampton. seem to have looked everywhere
