Eurovox ex 5000 pvr working again in Ireland

would like to Thank everyone who help me resolve my problem of lack of
channells. I got them back with all your help.
I have The Box Super Usb Pvr ,I got that back on Saturday Night, and last night I got my brother in law`s Eurovox ex 500 working, I am really happy that I got that back on air, as he asked me to buy that one for him about 2 weeks ago.

hey gerry, ive got an ex5000 pvr aswell but have yet to fix it. can you share how you got it up and working again? i'm also in ireland and on N*L. I'm going to try update the firmware when i get hold of a cable. only problem is i'm not sure how to tell the difference between clone and real box (it wouldnt let me download the comparrison pics in the other thread)

problem with my ex5000 pvr

hi all new to this you all seem to know all the problem with eurovox so heres mine
got a ex5000 got it all in updated firmware ext pluged it in says same old thing (please wait updating channels) hours later still saying same thing i know i doing it all right cos i do it with my max v box but when i go into my syestms info soft ware has not change had look inside the looks like a rest button on motherboard will that help failing that how do i tell if its a clone
o onle more thing it works if i put codes in manully just wont auto roll over please help thanks
