    Anyone else............

    having problems downloading the firmware today? downloaded fine yesterday on my laptop running vista but failed when it came to putting the firmware on the box.
    well today i came home with a clear head and wanted to give it another go but when i click the link i get the message "your session has either timed out or has not been correctly established " any other links out there ? or anyone got any ideas

      ps i'm now trying to download onto my xp computer (but get the same message on both )

          Managed to get the eurovox firmware now but how do i point the port on the eurovox program? at the moment its pointing to com1 but the computer is pointing to com22. i've tried changing the pc to com1 but thats already taken and won't allow me to change it that end. is there anyway of changing where the eurovox program points too?

              Not sure how to explain this but will give it a go.
              If you connect up the serial cable to the pc & box to be flashed but do not power up the box and hit start, the software should start scanning all the comm ports trying to find a link - if you then power on your box it should connect ok - this worked with me when I had a similar problem on an old pc I was using to flash someones box.
              Hope this helps !

              The above also works when a flash has failed and the software refuses to recognise the box, but the box isnt bricked.

                  I too am having problems downloading at the moment, not sure if it's because I haven't made enough posts. Problem is I don't know enough about this sort of stuff to help people out in links...
