    no or bad signal

Last week I had the issue whereby the picture was breaking up and it was un-watchable. Someone suggested that allinone booster should fix that or try changing frequencies.

I tried both the suggestions. Bear in mind before I connected the booster it was all working fine. Changing frequencies wasn't a good idea either cos it meant other dependable channels got worse. But the issue was resolved itself.

The Sunday just gone 28th .. I was having SAME ISSUE. picture breaking Actually worse than that. It has started saying "No or Bad Signal" ??

Here are the things I have tried.
I did the deep scan twice already, fast scan and user installation once each.

Flashed the box with the latest firmware; with the autofix. My last scan was at 1800 the scan went on for a while and TP found some frequencies after that the TV and RADIO channels were sorted. I only got 80 channels and 11 Radios. That seemed suspicious cos when I bought the box and did the scan it found 250 channels I went on anyways. But now it just got worse, I now get a message "No Channel" to which I know I should download the CDF file but I should n't have to cos I got the autofix anyways that should have fixed the issue regardless of CDF.

But guess what I get back to the same page where i started "no or bad signal" some channels break up as well.

So can it be the V*M?
    Can it be the cable?
or ultimately can it be the box itself ?
Or should i just wait little longer for everything to fix itself again....

    Please suggest.

    Happy New Year to everyone.

Check your cable supplier set top box, this will determine that the signal is ok ....

I like to think I know what Im doing when flashing boxes, building pc's, setting up routers etc etc, and I had similar problems to yourself - once re-flashed, I couldnt get the normal 36 transponders, thus hardly got any channels.
In my stubbornness to believe I could possibly do anything wrong (no sniggering peeps!), I had failed to notice that I had the f connected half hanging off the cable going into the eurovox after re-flashing, hence a very bad signal, and then when I fixed it, I put it into the tv aerial input socket by mistake, giving me no signal at all.
Now, ok, I was having "a bad day", but, these almost embarrasingly simple mistakes CAN be made, so double check the basics 1st.
Then, piggy back your original box with a splitter.
Firstly, it means if they do a bounce-back, your original box will tell them its happily connected and they wont think your viewing for free, and secondly, if that has a perfect signal, you know the problem is eurovox related.
          Hope this helps!

By that I understand the cabling. The feed coming out of the wall to the TV including splitter ?

              Is that right. ?
