Short answer is that you cant get the PPV channels, simply because they are that, pay per view, you might find some if someone near to you is getting some by checking out the TVCh etc .....

They are only available when there is something broadcast or close to been broadcast on them.

As said above by telecom69, if/when they are broadcast just look through the TVch's and you will find them, sometimes if you cant find them such as the boxing just do a channel update and that will bring the channel in.

Edit, LOL snap mate, how r you

Thanks guys....appreciate it...there is another issue ive found...i have a flatscreen tv with 1080p and 100hrtz and all that...but ive noticed there is a BB HD channel...and im guessing there will be more in the future...but for now the BBC HD channel is not clear...its staggered and all pixelated...is this to do with not having a HD box or do i have to change the frequency on this channel slightly...if so how do it do this...???

oh ok cheers....do yo uknow aswell as i am a newbie how long it takes them to change the codes or scrmable the firmware...so you need to download a new firmware to your box...and whats this about codes and keys you can put in through your remote...is this easier more reliable than the firmware...and once scrambled how long does it take to rectify??? sorry guys just have a thing for learning and new information....

To check whether yours has the updated Firmware look in Menu, Config, System info, S/W Ver should read 1.0 ST4 Oct 28 2008.

If it doesn't for your box to auto update you will have to flash it.

Read through these in this order for info on how to.

Its easier and less hassle to just update your box with the Firmware otherwise you will have the hassle of seraching for the Keys every time they change which can be either daily/weekly, there is no set pattern to how often the roll.

To enter keys manually press Menu, OK on Language settings, Type 1968, 1968, pull left rest is self explanatory. Or Menu then the Yellow button.

With regards to boxing or football matches, the "Short answer is that you cant get the PPV channels, simply because they are that, pay per view, you might find some if someone near to you is getting some by checking out the TVCh etc" comment is utter nonsense - you get every single pay per view event going, irrespective of whether someone near you is getting them or not - just do a scan when the event is due and you will pick up the channel - as I have done for every pay per view event in the last 3 years......
