Eurovox firmware novice

I have EUROVOX box and have never updated any firmware on it for a while. The remote has stopped working so I cannot put in the new codes. I checked the remote on someone elses box and it does work. They suggested I need to update my firmware.

1) what is the best way to find out what EUROVOX box I have?

2) How do I update the firmware? Is it complicated? What if I mess it up will I lose the box completely?

3) Which files do I have to update?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

you have a eurovox a blue box or red one mate down load both software and out them in one at a time you will need a null lead
