EX5000 pvr Channel scan...

Have this box scince about october but when the codes changed I didn't know what to do and its taken me this long to get hold of the correct flash/code/firmware or whatever its called... After loading this sucsesfuly onto my unit I attempted to scan for channels with no luck at all the scan is not returning a single result. Any ideas. Heres my specs -

Model: EX5000 PVR
S/R: My area is 6.887 but i've tried both that and 6.952
Firmware: The ex5000 one from this site.

Any light to be shed?

Check and make sure you have plugged the cable feed in to the RF In socket at the back and not the ANT.
