    max v channels??????

I have followed the instructions on here to load firmware and channels but at the end of the scan i get no channels and the receiver says 0000.I have used the standard and 8% download with the same result.
All i get on the screen is 'channel not available'

do a factory reset m8 then a power scan also make sure you are selecting the right symbol rate.
if you get stuck check this sticky.

      Thanks Camel
I have done that using the instructions(Telford 6952).
      No change.
As the scan operates it is showing steps scanned in the left hand top eg: 7/780 but the receiver is still on 0000 and i cannot seem to get anything through the telly

          it's the max v 2008 and i have the 8% firmware installed.
I have managed to get about 70 channels now but don't know why no more. The picture is considerably worse than through my cable box as well

                  Thanks Camel.
Should the picture quality be the same as through my standard cable box?--it isn't at the moment
