Can I install multiple Eurovox boxes?

Firstly, i would like to thank all info providers on this site. You offer great help & information which is genuinely much appreciated as I am not the most technically gifted!

I currently have a Eurovox Max V on main TV downstairs with splitter to cable suppier box upstairs. I would like to purchase another Eurovox for another bedroom but dont know if this will effect signal and disturb existing equipment which is working fine.

I am also concerned that I could overload supply signal and cause alarm & investigation from cable supplier. Is this possible?

    Any advice would beneficial.

    Cheers.

Yeh you can do that mate, i have 5 boxes on one line the last 2 boxes on the line need a signal booster but apart from that all is good. Only advice I would give is dont leave any lines open ended make sure they are in use or capped. Also buy a good quality splitter like qamtex and good quality CT100 cable or RG6.

Thanks 4 ur help and quick responce, Portbhoy.

I am still concerned about my incoming cable signal, do they measure the signal coming in? I am worried the supplier may come knocking at the door asking questions!

Which manufacturer / box do you recommend? I am tempted to buy the new Eurovox with record / pause facility but read a couple of bad reviews about suppliers & clones?

      Thanks again, mate.

P.S. have you used a standard TV signal booster?

Trust me you'll be fine only time they pick up anything strange is if you use wrong cables etc. If you want a non cloned box then shop at Skywonder they don't do clones but I would advise staying away from PVR's if you want to go that route just buy a DVD recorder and record that way. I would recommend the euro xl1000 it's a great wee standard box

Useful info, if I actually get my main box up and running I may well have to go down the route of multiple boxes, must learn to walk before I start running!
