    EX5000 Clones

I understand that the EX5100 has been brought out to counteract EX5000 Clones.

    1) How do you tell if it?s a clone?

    2) Are EX5000 clones inferior in any way?

    Thanks

If the box I got from:

    Shahzad Khan Trading as: DIGICOM
    cabledaddy dot co.uk
    133-135 Oak lane Bradford

is anything to go by clones are useless. The box I bought from him has not worked from day one and he ignores any emails and telephone calls.

Dont have one but read on another forum that the legit box has a Eurovox warranty sticker and clone has a Eurovox 5000 sticker. Satsmo or HiTeck will know.

I believe there are a few tell tale signs of clones such as the heatsink if you look through the vents, clones have a silver heatsink with grooves along it, and packaging looks glossier on genuine ones and the foam wrapping it comes in has like a square effect on the genuine ones and as mentioned before me there'll be a eurovox sticker somewhere on the box of a genuine one.
Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture.
