    eurovox max v 2008 problem

    Hi, hope someone can help me.

    i have 2 eurovox max v's, and one works perfectly and is great, the other is however a pain, it used to have just the 0000 on display, but i have now moved on(i think) and it now says 0001, i have the channel dump from my working box on it and have all the channels, but it says no signal and when i go to scan to see if this works, the top bar moves up and down but the quality bar doesnt(it did once today it fluctuated for about 2 mins then went back down to 1%). i let the scan finish but it doesnt come up with any channels or transponders, aand would really like some help from all you advanced users. i'm in ntl region and use 6887 as the symbol rate.

      I am presuming you have the 2 boxes in different locations? (rooms). Have you tried swapping the boxes over to see what happens?

              yeah i have swapped them over and the working oen still works and the non working one is still the same, although swapping it over i did get the two level and quality bar to move up and down like they do on the working one till about 77/770 on the progress on the left side of the scanning screen. just now it's at 234/770 and still not found any transponders.

              it's not a clone as i have used the guide to verify they are both the same boxes, bought at the same time and one works fine.

                  let it run its full scan mate. could be your tuner thats faulty though if it aint picking anything up.

                      so if it's that, am i best just to take it back to where i bought it from?

                          Hi Im pretty new to all this, i Have a black EuroVox Which im lead to believe is the max V, But i Do Know Its a clone box How casn i tell which box i have and which firmware i need Please Help
