    is the Eurvox 5100 any good

    Sorry all noob to this site but wanted to get opinions on this box.

    Is it any good or is it better sticking with the 5000 for now

    ANy help appreciated

    The 5100 is more or less the same, It came out to combat the ex5000 clones mate. Not much difference.
    Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture.

            Thats the 7000 HD model.

            The Eurovox EX5100 is only ?150.

              I was referring to camelv's link - which was for an HD box at ?199.

                Thanks guys,

                The 5100 is now down to ?104 albeit without HD but thats no prob as i can add it anytime. The cheapest i have found the 7000 is approx ?170.

                So it does sound like the 5100 is better value for money - or am i missing something

                    No it doesn't recommended max size is 120GB.

                      I,ve just got the 5100 pvr. Looks and plays just like the 5000pvr.
                      No difference what so ever.
                      I think euro brought this out beceuse of the clones which have been made.
                      The 5000 PVR is good enough if you get an original box.
