    Eurovox5000 pictures been scramble

    Hi ALL

    New to this so pls TRY TO HELP

    Purchased Eurovox 5000 . Working fine till Dec/08. All the channels then went. i think the cable provider must have scramble the channels.

    Any idea what i need to do in order for the box to start picking up the channel again ?
    Do i need to get a new firmware/software loaded in the box ?

    if So how do i do this /
    Where can get the firmware/software from ?

    pls help . missing my sport

      thank you very much for the help and the discussion site you refer me to.

      I have read through this. I think I understand what i have to do .

      just to recap
      1) i need the null modem cable
      2) Down load the firmware for my model
      I have done above. It is now on my Pc. i have saved it into a folder in my pc. When it had completed saving , it stated
      " do not have software to open the file" - Do i need to get this in order to download into the Eurovox box ?

      3) I then follow your instructions as to how to upload the firmware into my box .

      i will try this tonight and let see whats happens.
      If you can reply to my point No 2 above would appreciated.

        Download this WinRAR

        Install winRAR then double click on the file you downloaded, press wizard and extract to your desktop you can then open and run the UFL.

          All set. e/thing on my laptop . jst need to go home and try loading it onto the box.

          Will aim to keep you posted.

            Problem solved. The box is working and I am picking up all the channels.
