Eurovox not working

Hi All

I'm a bit new to all this but begining to understand so go easy. I have Eurovox Max v and it keeps going off am i right by saying if I download the latest firmware it will stop me having to change the codes every few weeks.

it isnt and wont be, go read up on nagra 3, plenty of threads on it

the latest firmware is in the download section, it could be you are in an area that has gone to nagra 3 encryption and no firmware or codes will fix youe box.

my ex5000 pvr has recently amounted a large number of scrambled channels. I live in merseyside and have recently received a new smart card for my cable box. does this have something to do with it? if so, can is there an firmware/software update available? anyone please

Yes your area is moving to nagra 3 meaning your eurovox wont work anymore.

Hi we are in kingston Surrey and our Eurovox how now got scrambled channels - does this mean we are in a Nagra 3 area and the box is now useless?

Probably mate,Have a look in the red sticky "areas receiving new cards" in the cable forum.
