EX5000 PVR "Download is Failed"

Hello

Just got myself an EX5000 and tried to update the firmware. It appeared to complete but came up with Download is Failed can any body shed some light on what is happening?

it still may have flashed m8 give it a try .
also see what it says in the system info on your menu

It appears that I the null modem cable they sent with the box was the cause. I tried with another cable and went through all the same steps and it said it successful.
