Hi MPG, Reagards to the system info, it is of no help this time around as it doesn't change with the latest firmware update. (For the Max V)

When updated press Menu, Installation, IF theres an option in there to DEEP SCAN then it flashed successfully.

Make sure the cable you buy is a NULL MODEM CABLE otherwise it wont work.

Hello,Went to harvey norman today and bought an null 9 pin female to female cable for 15 euros and flash eurovox(if thats the correct word).Got all my channels back on.

Thanks ppl for the work that goes into this forum,all the download links,the HOW TOO Post were excellent and very easy to understand and overall,it was very easy to get my channels back.

I check my boxed and it has an option DEEP SCAN,I'm just wondering what this does,(find more channels) If im honest i think i am getting all the channels anyway just checking if it does anything i might wana know about.

If you have all your channels then leave it as it is, The deep scan seems to scan at a lower step rate, eurovox are set to scan at step 8 by default. It can be handy when you are missing channels although it does tend to double up on channels.

If you flash the box with the most up to date f/w you won't need the codes mate. Check out the downloads section, eurovox, firmware. This will help mate.

having similar problems....eurovox ex 5000 pvr...please wait code being updated.

box has had latest firmware for a while, then lost some channels, did all the usual stuff like deep scan etc, no luck, so yesterday put on latest firmware and now getting code being updated on most channels? any help appreciated...i followed above advice about yellow button, leaving it on ss1 etc, but no luck...confused
