Send it back to the supplier mate.

Skywonder are reknowned for selling 100% geniune boxes mate, Good luck getting a refund from the cheeky b****ds who sold you the clone. I've never heard anyone complain about dvb junkie either but to each his own mate. It's your choice!

          evening Lanx

To be expected really, the max V has been discontinued so anyone selling those are either old stock or clones.

Try the ex5100 or the ex7000 if you want a clone safe box.

I didn't think the ex1000sl had been cloned yet Teck? That's the cheapest option too. Evening Teck my friend!

Not much difference between the 2 mate,

Eurovox ex5100 Pvr = ?104.00 with option to add a hdd at a later date if you wish also guaranteed to be genuine.

Eurovox ex1000sl = ?90.00-?100.00. Not 100% sure that clones haven't been made to date. I have heard people saying they have seen them but nothing concrete.

                eurovox max v 2008

thanks guys for your insite into these boxes! i havent had much experience with them to date so any tips is much appreciated!
i am going to order the (eurovox ex5100 pvr) seller as stated all firmware loaded, and have been power tested! also it is very much like the (2008 box) but newer and not cloned! does this mean i could use it straight out of the box, and just scan for channels, will it also pick all sports channels up which i can set to fav's?

Yes tyzer, if the latest firmware is loaded it will work once scanned straight out of the box mate. If you have any problems with it come back here.
