    my cable doesn't fit my laptop

    Hi all just downloaded software for my eurovox ex5100 pvr but when i have checked cable it 9 pin female. my laptop is 15pin female any thoughts where i can get a cable from.

      The 15 pin socket is for a VGA (video) cable and not an RS232 9pin. You will need to get a USB to serial adapter.. Many people have had to buy such an adapter and get this one..USB to Serial 9-Pin Male Adaptor > Maplin

          Look On EBay I Just Bought A RS232 9 Pin With usb connection for under 7 pounds Including delivery
