eurovox ex 5100pvr

have just bought the ex5100 and tried to connect using the proper symbol rate will scan and show all the channels but can only get the terrestrial channels bbc and itv all others show scambled channel. is there a switch in the street boxes that needs to be put on as in the analogue systems? is some subscription needed. have had a eurovox before but never had this problem. was it because it was switched on ? any advice thanks

has the box been flashed with mod firmware??,,you may only have fta firmware on it,,

Try flashing it with the latest software then do a rescan

if you have just bought the box over the net most places send them out as fta boxes so they stay within the law.

Please start your own thread kingkurt2323, you probably need the firmware which you will find at the top of the page when you backspace from here.

Read through the stickies any problems as said start your own thread and one of us will be glad to help.
